Dear Friends, Family and Generous Supporters,
From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank each and every
one of you for your continued support of me and The
M.O.R.G.A.N. Project. Over the past 6 years I have
asked you many times over to support us in one way or
another, and you have always done so. This time I am
very humbled by the enormous response I received when I let
you know about the 2007 Charming Voices Competition … the
number of essays that were entered on my behalf was
astounding … and those of you that so kindly shared them
with me touched me to no end!
As you can see from the attached article written by dear friend
and long-time supporter Shawna Kelsch, I was recently
notified that I had indeed been selected as one of the 5
finalists in this competition! What this means to me
personally could never be expressed in mere words, but what
this means for The M.O.R.G.A.N. Project is phenomenal!!
Of course the $20,000 donation from co-sponsors Charming
Shoppes and Montel Williams – money that will go such a
long way toward assisting families raising medically fragile
children with disabilities – is what this organization
really needed in order to be able to continue to provide the
programs that are now place. However, the national
exposure The M.O.R.G.A.N. Project will receive when I appear
on The Montel Williams show with the other finalists is what
I hope will turn out to be an opportunity of a lifetime for
us to get additional funding and sponsors for future
programs.
So, be sure to tune in on February 22, 2008 to The Montel
Williams show to see the presentation of this $20,000
donation – and remember, it could not have happened without
your help, and I am ever so grateful to all of you
for your support.
